212. Welcome again everyone. We will start today with a text at 7:35 AM on April 4, 2022 from none other than Miserable Melissa Hyatt to Tylor Elm (see above). In the text, she is asking him about a letter sent to the Palace. One problem here. There was no letter sent to us. She also asks him if he is aware of the council’s role in taking our license.
213. At 8:06 AM Tylor emails a bunch of people, looking for an update. She really does get great service from this city doesn't she?
214. Then the Chief sends out an email at 1:04 pm. You might not be able to read it, so we retyped it here for you.

The Mayor & I met with Melissa and another business owner last week. We detailed how we were going to start a process similar to the one we did when Lady Vi’s became a problem. That will include a very stern warning letter detailing all the problems and steps they need to take to avoid a revocation or non renewal. With Lady Vi’s that resulted in the owner agreeing to our list of requirements, to include a 90 day shut down, in order to preserve their license. We do not know how the Palace ownership will respond but if they choose not to cooperate then I think we can make a strong argument to the council for at least a non-renewal in July.

215. So, what I am taking from the Chief’s email is that meeting at the library on March 29,2022 (see blog 12, point 172) wasn’t to try to solve any problems or come to any resolutions. It was to try to figure out a way to shut us down. And they are trying to use the same punishment for us that they used for Lady Vi’s where management/staff were involved in human trafficking, drugs and guns. This is nothing short of insane. Our staff was not involved in any of these types of things.
I’ll say it again, we have never received a letter, a warning, a fine or anything like that. Yes there was one shooting, one bullet. The bullet went in the wall. I think it was about 8 feet high. Nobody was injured. The person was arrested and has been sentenced. How in hell do they think imposing any kind of punishment like they did at Lady Vi’s to us, makes any sense. Oh, and by the way somebody got shot at Lady Vi’s on September 12, 2022, and they are still open. And I’ve said before, I am against closing down any business that are victims of crime and that includes Lady Vi’s. And just so you know, we were never offered this deal. In fact we were never offered any deal. I guess that’s why I was not invited to the meeting. More on this in a later blog.

THE GARBAGE CANS ARE BACK
216. So here she goes with the garbage cans again. And why is she saying her air handler was not damaged(another exaggeration for effect). It would be like me saying that I parked my car in front of her store and it didn’t get keyed, broken into or set on fire. As far as fighting and police you can read the police report below. No fight, just a disturbance. No need to stress yourself out.
217. And as far as Jim “The Plotter in Chief” Paine’s comments go, all I can say is again he never really questions her facts or shows any curiosity. He shows no leadership qualities at all. It’s pretty disgusting.
