406. Welcome to Blog 44. Today we will pick up from where we left on Blog 42, “ANALYZING THE TEXTS” and Blog 41 “LET’S GO”. And as always we will follow the timeline to keep everything in context.

This was the postponed meeting from Oct 20, 2022. See Blog 41, Point 389. After talking to my lawyer I was completely convinced this whole thing was a sham. This meeting was more than six months after the Mayor’s original letter to me and over four months since we had been closed. Not once during this time did he ever tell us what he wanted. Not once did he tell us what we did wrong. Not once did he acknowledge we were victims of a crime. He never gave us any pathway to re-open like he did with Lady Vi’s and Centerfolds. And far worse things happened there than at our place. This was just an exercise of stall, delay and please go away.



And always keep in mind that I was still dealing with just my gut feelings. I didn't have any of the information that I have shared with you until 2023. So I decided to carry on with this folly until the end, when Jordan either was accepted or rejected with the license. But back on Nov 1, 2022, I never thought that this whole thing would get as crazy as it was going to become.

Jordan sent this text to Melissa Hyatt AKA, The Backstabbing Baker. See below.

So Jordan sent her a text and asked if she would be around the following day. Then Melissa LOL’d her and said she had to be at three places at once. Kind of like the time I booked 47 appointments at the same time on the same day. And I made it to all of them on time except the last one. I was five minutes late.

Jordan goes on to say that she would be there with Tony the next day. We had two Tonys before we closed. One was a bartender and also did a lot of maintenance work for us, the other was a doorman. She was referring to Tony the bartender. He was there to pick up his belongings like tools and stuff.

Then Melissa tells her that it will come up on her cameras and she has a company that monitors them. WHAT??? Before I moved to Superior I never had cameras in any of my businesses (See blog 37). I had alarm systems but not cameras. I did have cameras at the Palace and Shorty’s. But maybe you, my readers could help me out on this one. Is it normal for a small business like hers and mine to pay a company to monitor security cameras? We pay a company to monitor our alarm but not cameras. How much does it cost to have people to monitor their cameras?

ONLY 13 MINUTES AFTER JORDAN TEXTED HER

That’s right. Only 13 minutes after Jordan sent her a text, The Menacing Monster of the Mid-West was at it again. See her text to the Mayor below.

First off she refers to Jordan as “the lady who used to be the manager”. Keeping it classy as usual Melissa. She goes on to say that she needs to know what’s going on and that Jordan wants to talk to her. Why do you think it’s any of your business to know before it’s made public? And why would the mayor be giving her information all the time? And is it legal?

The Mayor tells her that she has applied. But this is the part that really gets me. The Mayor says to her “it’s up to you whether you want to talk to her or not”. WHAT???. The Mayor, Chief and Attorney Prell had said on more than one occasion that is was imperative that we or Jordan establish a friendship with her in order to obtain the license. Did you, Mayor Paine ever let her know about your stupid idea? Because it sure doesn't seem like it based on her text and another one coming up later on this thread. If it was incumbent on us to be her friend, wouldn't it be the same for her? It was dumb and childish idea in the first place.

And if that isn’t bad enough she’s going on about an employee she claims is not allowed there and that Jordan could not get a license if that person was there. I am sure she is talking about one of the Tonys. That is a complete lie. Jordan and I were never told that by anybody at City Hall. More on the two Tonys in a minute.

THE TALE OF TWO TONYS

As I said, the police and/or mayor had not ever supplied a list or verbally provided us with any names of anyone including any employees that could not be or work at the Palace. Another lie. Then she offers to send he Mayor a copy of the text that Jordan sent her at noon earlier in the day. And like a little 12 year old school girl being offered tickets to a Justin Beiber concert, he says “Yes Please”. And then these two jokers go back and forth trying to figure out what Tony they are talking about. Let me clarify that for them. The Tony they are trying to figure out is Tony the bartender. I spoke about him in the beginning of this Blog.



She then says she will make a video and then the Mayor says that when he gets it, he will watch it with the Chief. Keep in mind the date here is Nov 1, 2022.  The Palace closed on June  30, 2022.  Who the hell cares about who goes in and out of the building. Jordan had been going there after we closed to check on the building, furnace, lighting etc. Is this the best use of your taxpayer money? What is wrong with these people?

Now let me tell you about the Two Tonys.

Tony the doorman was fired on June 18, 2022 and was also banned from the Palace.



Tony the bartender told me prior to closing that he would not be staying on once I sold it to Jordan. He said he might be open to do some maintenance work if we needed any. I relayed that information to Jordan.  So Tony was not in Jordan’s plans going forward. I would be curious to know what exactly Tony did that Melissa said “caused problems”. After all he was only part time on Saturday and Sunday day shift and the occasional shift if somebody was sick. Actually Melissa could have just asked Jordan since she had reached out twice to her. She would have been happy to share that information with her. But I guess she was too busy backstabbing her instead.

414. So the Mayor, who had met Jordan previously said that she told him that her and Melissa were “Best Friends”. Jordan I think was 28 at the time and is a very outgoing, quirky girl with a great sense of humor. My daughters are around her age and that’s the way a lot of them talk. They will say things like were are BFF’S, Besties, Best Friends about people they know, don’t know very well and in some cases, not at all. I can see her saying something like that. But it’s part humor and part acknowledging that  contact had been made. I can guarantee you she did not think that her and Melissa were best friends. She did feel that her and Melissa did have a nice meeting. Melissa gave her a tour of her shop and gave her a doughnut as well. Jordan even told her mother that Melissa was very nice to her. Talking about humor, have you ever seen the Mayor and Melissa ever have a funny text between them? And then the Backstabber tells the Mayor that she didn’t trust her and what she said did not add up. No explanation or example and none requested from the Mayor. Pretty sickening isn't it?
