I got the following email from my lawyer on Nov 8, 2022.

Brian and Sheilagh,

I spoke with Mayor Paine about a follow up to our meeting last Tuesday. It is election day and the mayor’s Outlook system is not working, but we have a preliminary meeting time of Tuesday, November 15th at 1 pm. I am hopeful that we can keep that meeting time and get all of the mayor’s questions answered. Once we do that, Jordan will be ready to submit her liquor license application.

Once again another postponed meeting. Yep, lie, stall, delay, then lie some more and hope we go away. That’s the ticket. I think that’s 4 for 4 in meetings that he delayed or simply didn’t show up. What a little f*cking pecker-head. There is just one little problem with this one. He was in town that day and had plenty of time to meet with her. You can see by his schedule below. And by the way, how come Jordan’s name wasn’t on the schedule? And look at all the openings he had that day. But take a look at the final thing on that day on his schedule at 6:00 PM. That’s right a city council meeting. So I went on the city’s website and retrieved the minutes of the meeting on Nov 15,2022 (See below). Now look at who was there. Yep the little lying prick was there.

The texting twits are back. You will likely suffer a small drop in your IQ after reading their latest exchange but I am confident it will bounce back.  The interesting part of this text exchange is the date. So without further adieu here it is.

RECAP AND COMMENTS

1. I want to start with the meeting that was supposed to take place on November 15, 2022. I spoke to it earlier on the Blog but I noticed one thing. I have many of the Mayor’s schedules that I have posted on previous Blogs and even on some of the ones I posted today, I noticed that when he doesn't make a meeting a note is usually written on the schedule affirming that. On the Nov. 15,2022 schedule the meeting with Jordan and her lawyer isn’t even posted. Why is that? Did he know and plan in advance that this meeting was never going to happen?

2- The one thing we do know was he was in town and at the city council meeting the night of Nov. 15, 2022.

3- On Nov. 16,2022 he was off to Oregon. A few meetings on his schedule were canceled and were noted.

4- On Nov. 17,2022 he was in Oregon. But guess where his heart was? In Superior naturally because the Back Stabbing Baker, Melissa Hyatt shot him off a text. And naturally, he responded. Even around 1,400 miles can’t keep these two apart.

5- The text itself is the usual paranoid question about the license. If I had to guess that during all of the earlier texts between them she has frantically asked Paine about 20 times about the license. She never once ever had any questions about solutions for her problems and Paine never indulged her in any type of conversation to that effect. That in itself confirms to me that the two of them were conspiring to just shut us down. There never was any desire to try and bring both sides together to see if there was any common ground that would work for both sides. Part of that reason was a large part of her so-called problems were either not true or were her own doing for living in between two bars in a commercial district. And she couldn’t have found a better partner even when he’s 1400 miles away. Do you think that he would have texted me, my lawyer, Jordan or you the taxpayers back? Some of you have told me you couldn't even get a response to your concerns when he’s on terra firma right here in Superior. I guess it pays to know people in high places. I think some people in high places are actually high and whatever they are high on, I don’t want any. Or on the other hand they aren’t high on anything, but maybe they should be.

FINAL THOUGHTS

436. I just want to say that Jim Paine is a clear danger to Superior. The Twin Ports have had a history of not being “Business Friendly” and Jim Paine is continuing that tradition. With his latest flip-flop on the NTEC project and don’t forget the City of Duluth that came withing an ass-hair of losing Costco not long ago which forced the city 

to come back begging making them look like the idiots that they are. Look at the schools on both sides of the bridge right now. Declining enrollment forcing them to lay off staff. And look at Paine’s upcoming projects. Restoration of the Princess Theater, Carnegie Library and as I call it Disconnect Superior, the internet project. These three things alone could end up costing 75 million dollars. By the way do you know who notices all these things? Businesses do, that’s who. And when they decide to expand, move or build a new facility they look at the politics of the area among other things. And when they look at these two cities what do you think the say? And if they read our Blog and see what this Mayor has done to us, what do you think they say? Fuck Him and Fuck That. That’s what they say and who can blame them? I will talk more about all this stuff on later Blogs.
