106. Today, I want to speak about the first ill-fated meeting between us and the city. On May 23,2022, my attorney sent an e-mail to me (see point 36). He told me that we had a meeting with the city on May 24th and the mayor would not be there. We were never given a reason why. Prior to that, my attorney had also told my wife and I not to go out of town in the event the city wanted to meet with us. We actually had a trip planned to go to Las Vegas on May 18-25 because we were going to be moving there in October and had to find a place to live. As per his request, we cancelled the trip. With the uncertainty of the matters at hand, we never went. We eventually booked an Airbnb online. See copy of booking below.

107. On April 18,2023 we requested several documents from the city (see point 77). Among them were some of the mayor's daily schedules. The May 24th meeting could and should have been done with the mayor in attendance. After all, he is the mastermind behind this plot. Our license was good till the end of June and the council meeting was June 7th. But this type of behavior is not unusual for this mayor. We will have more on this in later blogs. 

108. Well, guess where he was on May 24th?....you guessed it...Las Vegas. He was at a convention in Vegas. What great timing. According to his schedule (see below) we could have met on May 26,27,31, June 1 and 2.
