MANIFESTO OF A MADMAN--THE RECAP

SOUR NOTE

FACE OF EVIL
THE MOUTHPIECE HAS FALLEN OUT OF THE HORN AND ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE!
608. Welcome to today’s Blog. After 17 exhausting Blogs analyzing Mayor Paine’s “Letter from Hell” today I was going do a recap with the highlights and lowlights, mostly lowlights of selected Blogs. Maybe I should call them lielights. But I realized that doing that could cause undo harm to yours and my mental state. The original “MANIFESTO OF A MADMAN” started on Blog 54 on June 14,2024 and ended on Oct. 24, 2024. As we go forward we will deal with different issues concerning the “letter from hell”. And today we have stories including another business possibly leaving Superior, a Halloween inspired story of a real life Vampire, “A Moment with Caitlin” (of course). We will discuss Adolph Hitler and Nazis. But here at the Blog we won’t be calling anybody Hitler or Nazis.

Who would have thought that in Oct. 2024, Adolph Hitler and Nazis would be in the press more than Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. After all Hitler died in 1945. But thanks to the Dems, they are. Here at the Blog we have to be topical, so I started my own investigation on this phenomena so we will talk about that as well. And we also have a comment from Craig Sutherland.
But we start off today with the “letter from hell”. Specifically about the common thread or theme that permeates throughout it. And that is “LYING”. 17 Blogs over 4 months, countless hours of research, 10 email requests to the city and 18 documented “Lies” and the one thing you take away is Mayor Paine is a “Serial Liar”. He is also a “Serial Know It All” as well. Oh, and don’t forget the other “Serial Liar” Melissa Hyatt. All you have to do is read her texts with the Mayor.
So what is up with the relationship between politicians and lying? We all know politics and lying go hand and hand. But while they lie a lot in public they used to keep a lot of their bigger lies behind closed doors. But not anymore. Everything is in the open. So I looked into it and this what I found.
609.
THE HISTORY BETWEEN POLITICIANS AND LYING

JOSEPH GERBALS

ADOLPH HITLER
The law of propaganda is often attributed to the Nazi Joseph Goebbels
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

The OSS psychological profile of Adolph Hitler described his use of the big lie:
His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.

I do not believe that Mayor Paine is Hitler or a Nazi. But after you read the above article, he has employed these tactics when it comes to lying. And it’s not only him. The entire Democrat party recently called President Trump and others Hitler and Nazis. When I was younger, calling somebody Hitler or Nazis was like using a four letter word. Now it’s like saying “bread and butter”. Those words are now marginalized and acceptable in some circles which in the end will make them meaningless. I rarely get triggered by words. Maybe I’ve been around too long. Maybe I’m too old. Maybe I’ve become immune to almost everything. Maybe because when I was little kid my mother told me about 500 times ‘sticks and stones will break my bones, but names will never hurt me.” So I wasn't really triggered when all this happened but I was a little surprised and I actually found it kind of funny. Why? Because the Democrats who seem to be triggered every day, no make that every hour about something Republicans said, are now calling fellow Americans Hitler, the most evil man that ever lived and think that it’s acceptable. So yes in a weird way, I find that funny.

When you attack someone you normally would have some measure of truth in that attack but in our case the Mayor did not provide us with that. Instead he just rambled on with non factual allegations about myself and also Jordan Wheat. Then he and Chief Alexander, the police Chief at the time, provided statements to the “fake news” Superior Telegram and Duluth News Tribune to make sure they could paint us the worst possible light and like usual there was little to no fact checking from the “fake news” and that is how you get the ball rolling to obtain the support of people in the court of public opinion.
But in the end I provided ample, clear and concrete evidence of wrongdoing between the Mayor and Melissa Hyatt. And almost all of it was supported by the texts between them and information I got from the City of Superior.

Public servants, take a higher oath and they are held to a higher standard of integrity. Unfortunately I don’t see this in the Paine administration. In fact I see the complete opposite. All I see is a “Serial Liar’ and a “Serial Know It All”. And it’s not pretty.

611.As Craig Sutherland said on his Facebook page on Oct 19, 2024:
And by the way here is a link to his page: (1) Facebook
“Don't piss on my back and tell me it's raining player! That's Jim Paine, Mayor of Superior for ya!”
COMMENTS
What he is saying is exactly what has been going on with Democratic party for the last few years. It’s also what the “politicians lying “article describes.

The left have completely lost all control of their mental facilities. They have lost their collective minds.

612. Business ‘bridged’
Blatnik rebuild forces testing firm to move
A local testing firm has brought new meaning to what it means to “get bridged” in the Twin Ports.

Twin Ports Testing currently operates out of a Superior facility at 1301 N. Third St. But, as plans to reconstruct the Blatnik Bridge advance, it has become evident the building it occupies will need to make way to accommodate the project. Next stop? Probably the Atlas Industrial Park in Duluth’s Morgan Park neighborhood. The Duluth Economic Development Authority will take up a resolution Wednesday, Oct. 23, that could authorize the sale of 5 acres of land in the park to Twin Ports Testing II Inc. and JBJ Atlas Properties LLC, a holding company expected to serve as the firm’s landlord. The land transaction is expected to cost about $26,000. If the sale goes through, the developer has pledged to construct about a 10,000-square-foot testing facility, bringing at least 17 new jobs to Duluth.
The proposed new facility would be roughly comparable in size to the structure Twin Ports Testing currently calls home, according to Joe Berger, an engineer and co-owner of the business. The city of Duluth reached out to a handful of businesses that could be displaced by the Blatnik Bridge project to ensure they remain rooted in the Twin Ports, said Tricia Hobbs, interim director of the city’s planning and economic development authority. She said the main objective was to keep local businesses supported, regardless of which side of the border they chose. One of those businesses was Twin Ports Testing, and Atlas appeared to be the best fit for the firm. Not that there were many choices, in Berger’s eyes. “Speaking frankly, there’s just not a lot of available property that’s affordable in the city of Duluth or Superior,” he said.

Berger acknowledged the move comes with challenges, but said, “We’re excited to get in there.” He hopes the firm will be able to move into a facility at Atlas sometime next year. “But there are a lot of moving parts to this, and obviously we still need board approval,” he said. The industrial park, formerly home to Atlas Cement, an auxiliary of the U.S. Steelworks facility that once operated there, was cleaned up and made ready for redevelopment only after significant effort.
Hobbs said she is thankful for the work of her predecessors at the city and the Duluth Seaway Port Authority, who saw the potential to reuse the idled property, which is about 60 acres. About 40 acres of that land were deemed acceptable for redevelopment. If the deal with Twin Ports Testing goes through, just under 10 acres will remain available at Atlas. Hobbs said another prospective buyer appears to be actively pursuing a site there that could cut the remaining property to less than 5 acres. Other Atlas occupants, current and anticipated, include a soon-to-open Amazon facility;Second Harvest, in the former Ikonics facility;and Goodwill, which seeks to purchase 8.8 acres.
Hobbs said staff recognize property readily available for development, such as the Atlas site, as a precious commodity. “Vacant land is not something that is easily found here in Duluth,” she acknowledged. But Hobbs said she also remains optimistic that additional land next door to Atlas will become available as cleanup efforts at the former U.S. Steel site continue and the property is delisted. DEDA currently controls the property at Atlas, but Hobbs said the city remains eager to see the idle land sold and developed to add to the local tax base. “We don’t want to be landowners. We want to be a catalyst for economic impact and growth,” she said.
For his part, Berger said Twin Ports Testing wants to relocate seamlessly without disrupting the critical services it provides in support of other Northland development. “Gotta find a way. That’s what we do as engineers,” Berger said. Twin Ports Testing, founded in 1972, began as a resource to confirm and strengthen pipeline integrity. But it has since expanded to offer what the company describes as “comprehensive nondestructive testing and nondestructive evaluation services as well as geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, environmental consulting, industrial hygiene and industrial chemistry laboratory services.”

Another company possibly and likely moving out of Superior. Why? The only thing we know after reading this article is that they have to relocate because of the bridge. But why are they leaving Superior? That is not mentioned. In fact there is no explanation as to why they couldn't stay in Superior. And as usual, after reading an article in the hyper ideological Superior Telerag or Duluth Fake News Tribune I find myself asking more questions than I got answers. So here are the questions that I wish were addressed. Did the City of Superior know about this? If so what did they do? Did they make any attempt to keep them in Superior? Could you explain the process? Where was Mayor Paine and City Council on this issue?

JASON SERCK
And what about Jason Serck, Planning, Economic Development & Port Director for the City Of Superior? Man that’s a long title, but it seems to me this would be right up his ally. I looked at his, the Mayor and city of Superior Facebook pages and there is nothing on it about this. Could it be Mayor Paine’s business unfriendly and combative positions that drove them out? I don’t know but with a complicit liberal press sometimes we are just left asking questions. But the bottom line is we may lose this company to Duluth and the press as well as Mayor Paine owe us an explanation. And hey, maybe there is one, but it should have been explained in this article. And by the way if you are the Mayor of any city the first you should do in the morning (which I do) is to go online and check out the morning newspapers. They are usually out by 3:00AM. And if there are any articles that may affect you or the city go on your Facebook and explain the situation. We know Mayor Paine is up early because of his sometimes 5:00 AM texts to Melissa Hyatt. As I write this it is Oct 29, 2024. The article appeared in the Duluth Tribune Oct 22, 2024. It’s 4:27 AM right now here in Las Vegas and I have read today’s Superior Telegram, Minnesota Star Tribune, Pioneer Press, Ottawa Sun and Duluth News Tribune. My Las Vegas Review-Journal is usually delivered by 7:AM and I always read that when I have lunch. I prefer reading a physical paper than reading online. Some habits are hard to break.

AND NOW……. A MOMENT WITH CAITLIN
Caitlin Clark named WNBA's most marketable star

Caitlin Clark's award-winning, record-breaking rookie season has cemented her as one of the most marketable athletes on the planet. Why it matters: Marketability leads to endorsements, which are often the path to higher earnings for WNBA players who still make a percentage of what their NBA counterparts pull in despite surging popularity.
Driving the news: Global sports media and events company SportsPro released its 15th annual list of the world's 50 Most Marketable Athletes on Tuesday.
- Clark made her debut this year, cracking the top 5 as the fourth most marketable athlete, sandwiched between No. 3 LeBron James and No. 5 Lionel Messi.
- Tyrese Haliburton is the only other Indianapolis athlete on the list at No. 86.
- Caveat: The list came together before Haliburton signed a sneaker deal with PUMA Hoops, meaning his stock is still rising.
How it works: SportsPro deputy editor Ed Dixon told Axios the list is crafted with the help of consulting firm NorthStar Solutions Group, which has developed a methodology that blends qualitative research and quantitative metrics to determine the final ranking.

- To be considered eligible, an athlete must have been active between Sept. 1, 2023 and Sept. 1, 2024.
Once the list of athletes was narrowed down to 150, 16 factors were rolled into three weighted scoring pillars:
Brand strength: An athlete's global presence and brand affinity.
Total addressable market: An athlete's reach and engagement potential.
Triple bottom line: An athlete's impact on people, profit and the planet, emphasizing their influence in the realm of social responsibility.
What they're saying: "Somebody like Caitlin Clark, she's got a lot of momentum behind her as does women's sports … but she doesn't have multiple years of consistent performance and consistent achievement," said Chris Collins, chief executive of NorthStar Solutions Group. "If that's all we looked at, she would never even rise into a category of some of these longer-term athletes like LeBron or Messi that have been doing this forever."
- Dixon, meanwhile, said this list should hush any doubters who still question Clark's impact on today's market.
- "WNBA chief marketing officer Phil Cook described it best when he described Clark's arrival to the league as a Tiger Woods entering the PGA Tour moment," he said. "That gives you an idea of how transformative she's already been and will be in the coming years."
Zoom out: Simone Biles topped this year's list.
- Biles is just the third athlete to be No. 1 twice, joining Messi and Neymar.
By the numbers: Athletes from 18 countries are featured on the list, with the U.S. accounting for 42%.
- 21 of the top 50 competed at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
- With six players on the list, the WNBA has more athletes in this year's lineup than any other league.
Here is a look at the full top 10
🤸 Simone Biles
⚽ Vinicius Junior
🏀 LeBron James
🏀 Caitlin Clark
⚽ Lionel Messi
🤸 Rebeca Andrade
⚽ Kylian Mbappe
🏉 Ilona Maher

A CREEPY TRUE STORY FOR HALLOWEEN
‘Real-life vampire’ considered so dangerous she was padlocked inside grave with a sickle at her neck: archaeologists

Just in time for spooky season, archaeologists have unleashed grisly new information about how a “real-life vampire” spent her final moments.
An elite female “vampire” who died some 350 years ago was first unearthed two years ago at a medieval graveyard in Pień, Poland. Dubbed Zosia by researchers, new illustrations of what the 18-year-old vampiress might have looked like suggest she had fair skin, blue eyes, short hair and a single protruding incisor tooth. Zosia was also laid to reset with a silk cap on her head, which signifies that she was of a high social status. But her rank wouldn’t save her from being accused of evil: Of about 100 other skeletons at the grave site, only Zosia was covered with a sickle across her neck and a giant padlock on her toe.
Professor Dariusz Polinski, who has led recent research on Zosia with study partner Magda Zagrodzka, told the Daily Mail, “It can be assumed that for some reason those burying the woman were afraid that she would rise from the grave. Perhaps they feared she was a vampire.” Experts believe that the sickle and padlock were fitted to the corpse as a form of “double protection” for villagers out of fear that the “vampire” could rise from the grave; the sickle would’ve ensured that she would be decapitated had she attempted to rise from her grave. “The sickle was not laid flat, but placed on the neck in such a way that if the deceased had tried to get up most likely the head would have been cut off or injured,” Polinsk explained.

Polinski and Zagrodzka worked with Oscar Nilsson, a facial recognition expert who took a digital scan of Zosia’s skull and made a copy using a 3D printer. He used clay to mold new “muscles” of her face, as well as silicon to give new skin. Bone scans examined by medical investigator Dr. Heather Edgar at the University of New Mexico found an abnormality in Zosia’s breast bone.
The abnormality suggests there might have been a physical deformity that caused her great pain and “marked this person [to others] in a negative way,” being a reason she was feared to be a vampire before she was sacrificed and buried, Edgar told the Times.
With the Swedish-Polish wars ensuing during the time of her death, researchers believe it’s possible that Zosia was Swedish and considered an “unwanted outsider.”
About 30 of the 100 graves were found with signs of being restrained, which ultimately led to the site’s nickname, “Field of Vampires.” Polinski said that the cemetery was specifically for people who were “excluded from the community;” however, all of the graves were left unmarked and there are no written records regarding the bodies. Among the other graves include a partially exhumed child, a woman with advanced syphilis, a pregnant woman and a man with a child’s corpse at his feet.

Some bodies were turned face down, some were weighed down with stones and others had coins in their mouths. “Ways to protect against the return of the dead include cutting off the head or legs, placing the deceased face down to bite into the ground, burning them, and smashing them with a stone,” Polinski told the Daily Mail. Zosia having the sickle over her neck suggests that she was feared the most by those who killed her. According to Smithsonian magazine, Eastern Europeans initially became fearful of vampires in the 11th century, believing that “some people who died would claw their way out of the grave as blood-sucking monsters that terrorized the living.”
By the 17th century, “unusual burial practices became common across Poland in response to a reported outbreak of vampires, Science Alert reported. Polinkski and Zagrodzka plan to return for more excavations, including a night-time excavation using fluorescent lighting that could uncover new bones. The latest findings about Zosia, the “real-life vampire,” are the subject of a new two-part documentary called “Field of Vampires,” which will air on Sky History on Oct. 29 and Nov. 5 at 9 p.m.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Well that’s it for today and I’ll see you on the next Blog.
