517. Welcome back everybody to Blog 61. Today we will continue to analyze the desperate letter from a desperate man or as I like to call him man-child. We will have the usual lies, exaggerations and inflamed wording from our esteemed Mayor. So let’s start.
Now back to the “MANIFESTO OF A MADMAN.”
THE LONG LETTER
LIE # 7-A BIG ONE

COMMENTS
I cannot believe that on Dec 6, 2022 that he is still pushing this fake and false narrative seven months later. The Shooting-Non Shooting or the second shooting as he calls it, occurred May 26,22.I have spoke about this probably 10 times or so on various Blogs. In fact I did three entire Blogs about it. It was Blogs 17,18 amd 19 and here are the links.
Not only that, it was determined that day that it did not happen on our property. The cops knew it, we knew it, the patrons and staff knew it. And they knew it that day. But almost seven months later this twisted “Madman” plunks down a letter less than three hours before a council meeting and says it did happen. How would you like it if you owned a business and two business down from you were selling drugs and the Mayor said it happened at your business and even though it was proven to be false he still took away your license? You wouldn’t like it would you? Neither did I? They do this kind of thing in banana republics and Superior, Wi.
Here are two facts. Before the Brain Dead Bozo from Blaine. Mn, Todd Gerald Peterson did his crime, he had a room at the Cobblestone Hotel and had been at the Anchor Bar before he came into the Palace.
Now let me give you an example of how ridiculous this whole situation has become.
Let’s say a guy shows up at Super One and gets thrown out for causing a disturbance, then he walks past Kwik Cuts Salon and then on the land between the salon and Keyport Liquor he shoots off his gun in the air several times. So who is to blame? The Mayor? No. The Police? No. Super One? No. The Salon? No. Keyport? No. The only person responsible is the idiot with the gun. Right? Well not exactly. Mayor Paine decides that Super One is responsible as well and takes their business license away and shuts them down. Sound OK to you? Well, me neither, but that is pretty much what happened to us.
So today I am sending the Mayor the following email:

On the Dec 6, 2022 letter, the Mayor said the following:
“culminating in two shootings in the spring.”
I only have knowledge of one shooting in the five and half years I've owned the Palace. That was on March 18, 2022. On that same day Melissa Hyatt texted you and said, "there was another shooting." The chief of Police confirmed that there had not been another shooting. There was another shooting in our area on May 26, 2022 That also was debunked by the police, In fact I wrote three Blogs about that. They are Blogs 17, 18, 19.
So, my request is as follows:
On Dec 6, 2022, you submitted a letter to city council stating that there were two shootings. Could you tell me what two you are referring to. Other than the one on March 18, 2022, could you supply date, proof and/or evidence on the second shooting.

519. Next up the Mayor says:
“My office also received numerous complaints from at least one neighbor about loud and late nights, littering, parking violations, and chronic fighting, all to the detriment of other area businesses.”
COMMENTS
Well we know who the one neighbor is don’t we. And yes we did have fights from time to time. We are one of the busiest bars in town. It happens in the bar business. But in typical Mayor Paine manipulating misuse of the English language he has to throw in the word “CHRONIC” to make it sound like we are much worse than our competitors. But once again the facts don’t line up with his narrative. And these facts are from the City of Superior. And who’s the Mayor of Superior? I did a whole Blog about this. I looked up the word “CHRONIC FIGHTING” on Google:
“Chronic conflicts are those arguments that persist over time and consistently recur. It's like they never go away. A fight may end in terms of the yelling and screaming, and it seems like things are good for a while, but then something festers, and there they are again.”
I think a more appropriate use of the word “CHRONIC” could be used in the following sentence:
I am sick of the condescending Mayor’s “CHRONIC” exaggerations, lies and nonfactual accusations and they are making me “CHRONICALLY” ill.
If you have to lie to make a point, did you even have a point to begin with?
520. Then there is this:
“all to the detriment of other area businesses.”
COMMENTS
In the five and half years that I owned the Palace I have never had a complaint from any nearby business other than Melissa Hyatt. In fact I would argue that by bringing thousands of new customers to the area other businesses around me have benefitted from that.
I really don’t have the time, patience or crayons to teach Mayor Paine how business works and even if I did he probably wouldn't listen anyway.
So, this is going to require yet another request of information to the Mayor today:

Could you tell me what businesses you are referring to other than Melissa Hyatt. Could you supply the name or names, dates, proof and/or evidence because I have no records that speak to your statement.
